Adventurers are people registered with the guild, and the guild is an organization that brokers work for adventurers, apparently. At registration they take a hearing and check your aptitude, and you’re sorted into warrior or mage, or something.
Then they introduce work that matches that aptitude.

“Hmm hmm.”
“Of course you cannot take high-difficulty requests immediately. Adventurers have ranks, and work is assigned according to that rank.”
“Hoh hoh.”
“Are you listening?”
“Mm.”

Flying Magic

The viewers got bored of the scenery, so I sped up. From the Spirit Forest to the town is about the distance of a horse running a full day, apparently. I got there in about an hour, and even then everyone seemed bored.

‘After you sped up we couldn’t even tell what the scenery was lol’
‘All we could do was talk…’

“Hmm… Next time I won’t stream during travel.”

I can’t say the travel itself is important, and showing just inside the town is fine too.
Anyway, arrival. I’m flying fairly high, and a big town is visible below. A large wall against magic beasts surrounds the town, with gates at east, west, south, and north.

“Which gate should I use. The closest one okay?”

‘No’
‘It’d be obvious you came from the Spirit Forest. How about the south gate?’

“South, then.”

I gain altitude so I can’t be seen from the ground, and head for the opposite side.
Looking down from up here, you can tell it’s a really wide town. There’s a big building in the center, I wonder what that is?

There’s a huge flood of comments and reacting to each one is a pain. I’ll ignore comments for a while.

When I think about it, it does feel a little strange.
I go frequently to Japan, which is very, very far away, but I’ve never been to a town in this world, which should be much closer.
I wasn’t that interested, so maybe it can’t be helped.
I teleport to the World Tree. When I call the Great Spirit, she comes out right away.

“I’m going to town for a bit.”
“Eh. Eh…? Eeh!?”

‘The Great Spirit is super surprised lol’

The day after I went to Tokyo. I started streaming before noon as usual, and immediately tilted my head.

When I turned at the guide’s voice, he was holding something like a red soup. He set it on the table, and it has a slightly unique smell. I can tell from the smell. This is a spicy one.

“Is spicy okay?”
“Mm. Of course.”

I try it with the spoon he brought along. The lots of whitish stuff, is that tofu? When I put it in my mouth, it’s spicier than I expected. Spicier than curry. But I don’t know, it’s the kind of spice you could get used to.
This goes really well with rice too. Delicious.

‘Ahh geez what delivery am I even supposed to get!’
‘Just get all of it?’
‘Gyoza and mapo tofu is rough on an old guy’
