I teleport to the World Tree. When I call the Great Spirit, she comes out right away.

I feel like I’m being made fun of, but I know I can’t push back hard on this. When I get absorbed in research, I’ve spent years inside the subspace.

I have teleport magic, so coming back is an instant. So if something happens in the forest, I can rush over right away. If I couldn’t do that I wouldn’t have thought of going out. I am the Guardian, after all, for what it’s worth.
In front of the Great Spirit, I spread out a map I took from subspace. A world map with this forest at the center. Handmade by Master, no less.
When Master was looking at it, I wanted it and begged. He said no because there was only one, so I gave up, but in about a week he drew a new one.

A dad, huh. If everyone says so, maybe that’s it. But to me, father and mother are the ones who abandoned me. I don’t have a very good image of them.

A big town south of the Spirit Forest. Apparently a town for watching whether anything abnormal happens in the Spirit Forest.

I wave to the Great Spirit and teleport, in high spirits, to the forest entrance.
Viewers seemed surprised by the sudden change of scenery and comments increased a lot, but I teleport pretty often so it shouldn’t be new. Looks like there are new people, so maybe it’s them.

‘By the way, Rita-chan, how are you getting to that town?’
‘Teleport after all?’

“I won’t teleport. Since we’re doing this, I thought I’d fly over at an easy pace.”

Now then. Let’s go to town. I take a broom out of subspace, put magic on it, and the broom floats in the air.

‘A broom!? Why a broom!?’
‘Rita-chan, weren’t you just flying normally? You need a broom?’

I think the same, but this is what I was taught by Master.

“According to Master, that’s the aesthetic.”

Master said something similar. I don’t really care, but it was Master’s fixation, so I basically ride a broom too.
I sit on the broom and float up slowly. Higher than the trees of the Spirit Forest.
